On May 31st, on the occasion of its 47th anniversary, Quifatex reaffirmed its commitment to the Ecuadorian community by participating in a volunteer program at the Daniele Sipione Educational Unit, located in Oyacoto, north of Quito. This school serves more than 300 children in vulnerable situations, providing them with education and daily meals.

In line with our purpose of improving lives and contributing to the well-being and health of Ecuadorian families, Quifatex led a charitable initiative to adapt the school's facilities. With the support of 28 company volunteers and 38 parents, teachers, and students, we worked together to transform the institution's facilities. During the volunteer day, several important improvements were made:

- Repair of the main fence

- Painting of the pedestrian crossing and bleachers

- Implementation of a new recreational area for children

In addition, a few days earlier, on May 24, Quifatex contributed to the community minga (a small group meeting) with parents and teachers, during which the following were carried out:

- Treatment of moisture on exterior walls

- Construction of an access ramp to the recreational area

- Installation of a protective fence

- Leveling of the land for the new recreational space

All the necessary materials for these activities were delivered in advance by Quifatex as part of its commitment to sustainable community development.

This activity is part of our sustainability vision focused on creating social value, promoting environmental awareness, and encouraging corporate volunteering. Beyond a celebration, this day was a meaningful experience that connected our employees with the company's purpose and with the realities of those who need it most.

We are grateful to each person who joined this cause. Today more than ever, Quifatex is consolidating its position as a trusted partner, committed to transparency, sustainability, and the well-being of its communities.

Celebrating these 47 years means continuing to build a meaningful future.
